Built in 1967, Kennedy House was designed to reflect the Modernist Style driving Philadelphia’s Urban Renewal and embraced minimal design. When the building was refurbished in 2016, it was done to reflect, and celebrate the building’s historic roots.
The unique nature of the 552 units within Kennedy House reflects the personal styles of individual residents. Sizes range from studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments. The floors are 7" concrete slabs.
I never knew that moving into the Kennedy House would include an entirely new social world, filled with new friends, clubs, and activities.
This is the most fun place I have ever lived.
By every standard on which one would chose a home, from affordability, cleanliness, excellent maintenance to a genuine sense of community Kennedy House is second to none.
